Appropriate costuming is important to the dance. Kayamanan Ng Lahi thoroughly researches the material culture related to the dance to make certain that the translation from the "village" to the "stage" is not lost with the costuming. KNL takes pride in its extensive costume and dance property inventory collected and produced since its inception in 1990 and is best known for it's traditional ethnic costume collection of the peoples of the northern cordilleras to the peoples of southern seafaring provinces of Mindanao. KNL's western/Christian-influenced costumes are produced to properly reflect the period's style and material.
