As an adjunct to the weekly workshops, KNL members are encouraged to take supplemental courses held outside of workshop. The courses provide a more in depth study of Philippine dance/music and are geared for individuals want to take their knowledge further and to teach Philippine dance/music.



"Treasures" Course

The Treasures Course is offered only to active KNL members. The course is designed to increase the candidates knowledge of Philippine dance within context of Philippine culture - building the KNL member's capacity as leaders within KNL's performing arts. Only those who have successfully completed Tuklas Sining are allowed to take the "Treasures" Course. The course is includes five major tests including, a project, taken and completed within a six month time span. Upon completion, the candidate "graduates", goes through a special rite of passage within KNL and is bestowed special honors.
