Kayamanan Ng Lahi Philippine Folk Arts periodically offers special projects open to the general public. Past projects include:



  • Treasured Series Class (1993) featuring Marshall Wandag and Bibak Dance Ensemble

  • Palabuniyan Project (1998) featuring NEA Heritage Fellow Awardee Danongan Kalanduyan, teaching traditional Maguindanao kulintang music in a series of workshops.

  • Philippine Dance Gathering (1999) a gathering of 75 Philippine dance practitioners representing 20 community and school-based groups, scholars, and resources specialists, in a collaborative setting to strengthen and develop Philippine dance in America.

  • Philippine Dance Gathering and Workshops (2001) a gathering of over 200 dance practitioners and resource persons from all over the U.S. and the Philippines. This time, the gathering was a 5-day event including all-day dance workshops, culminating in a participant showcase.

  • On-going technical assistance and consultation services to school and community-based groups in the areas of cultural/dance education, material cultural and music.
